Privacy policy

Our approach

Day-mark is a local-first task organizer. Day-mark does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

Data stored on your device

Task lists, task titles, notes, dates, completion state, and reminder settings are stored locally on your device. Day-mark does not provide a cloud account or synchronize this information to a server.

Deleting individual tasks or lists removes them from Day-mark. Deleting the app removes its locally stored application data according to the device operating system’s behavior.

Device authentication

Day-mark asks the operating system to authenticate you with Face ID, Touch ID, another supported biometric method, or your device passcode. Day-mark does not receive or store biometric data or your passcode.

Voice input

When you start voice input, Day-mark requests microphone and speech-recognition access. Recognition is configured to run on your device. Audio and transcripts are temporary and are not uploaded by Day-mark. Only tasks you explicitly save are stored locally.

Notifications

If you enable a task reminder, Day-mark schedules a local notification on your device. Day-mark does not use a server to send push notifications.

Analytics and advertising

Day-mark does not include advertising, tracking, analytics, or third-party account services.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when Day-mark’s features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
